If you want to right now, there\u2019s lots to talk about regarding college football. Conference championship games, coaching hirings and firings, who will make it into the playoff, and so on. But in the interest of time and getting this email out, I\u2019ll keep it short \u2013 and focus on something completely different. That is, the status of our pick \u2018em game itself.<\/p>\n

First, the week 13 winners! This week\u2019s winner is JagAL<\/strong>, with 213 points! Jeff4Bama<\/strong> was second with 204 points, and WarTiger91<\/strong> had 203 points.<\/p>\n

This leader board is unprecedented. In all the time that I have administered the pool and kept records, I can never remember as close a race entering week 14 as we have here. Usually, the conference championship weekend is something of a \u201cvictory lap\u201d for the winner \u2013 just remember to get your picks in, and you\u2019re good. That is not the case this year. With five people within six points of the lead, and eight within 16 points, this game is far from finished. Based upon how bold our pickers are feeling, and with college football providing its usual drama, anything can happen! Even with only seven games on the slate, every point matters!<\/p>\n
