{"id":33,"date":"2012-10-09T14:12:03","date_gmt":"2012-10-09T14:12:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.e-systems.net\/news\/?p=33"},"modified":"2012-10-09T14:14:17","modified_gmt":"2012-10-09T14:14:17","slug":"2012-e-systems-college-football-pool-week-6-results","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.e-systems.net\/news\/2012-e-systems-college-football-pool-week-6-results\/","title":{"rendered":"bamaken wins week 6"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5\" title=\"e-systems_football_logo\" src=\"http:\/\/www.e-systems.net\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/e-systems_football_logo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"108\" \/>As much as I&#8217;d love to talk about this past weekend in college football, given the absolute chaos that reigned, I just don&#8217;t have the time to put together a full recap.\u00a0 Hopefully, next week there will be more time to do so.\u00a0 In the meantime, here&#8217;s a mini-version to tide you over.<\/p>\n<p>Nine top-25 teams lost last week.\u00a0 The last time that many top-25 teams lost in one week, it was almost four years ago (October 18, 2008).\u00a0 This week&#8217;s poll features some familiar faces (Alabama at #1, Oregon at #2) and some new blood (Cincinnati at #21 and Texas A&amp;M at #22, ranked for the first time this year, and Louisiana Tech at #23, ranked for the first time since 1999).<\/p>\n<p>This week&#8217;s featured team: the South Carolina Gamecocks. One of the biggest, of course, is Oklahoma-Texas, held every year at the Cotton Bowl during the Texas State Fair (unofficial motto: &#8220;we deep-fry anything&#8221;).\u00a0 But there are several top-25 teams facing each other, so your picks and points will be paramount!
