Our biggest congratulations go to the winner of the 2013 e-Systems College Football Pool:<\/p>\n
AUBrian<\/strong> finished the season with 2,286 points in the \u201cdrop two worst weeks\u201d format. Pachyderm<\/strong> finished in second place with 2,258 points, and maestro<\/strong> was third with 2,240 points. Congratulations to all three for their great performances! All three will receive special prizes for their accomplishment.<\/p>\n AUBrian<\/strong> used big weeks to cruise to the win. He finished first in three weeks (3, 7, and 12), and tied for the lead in week 10. In addition, he finished 2nd in a week three times and in the top five two more times beyond that. During the stretch from week 6 through 12, he never finished lower than seventh. He also finished first in the total points category, with 2,425 points. Pachyderm<\/strong> (2,411) and maestro<\/strong> (2,382) were again #2 and #3 respectively in this category as well. Well done to these three players!<\/p>\n One more note on AUBrian<\/strong> before we move on. This is the fifth year I\u2019ve been compiling statistics on our pool. In those five years, AUBrian<\/strong> has never placed lower than fifth overall in a year, including winning the 2010 title. That\u2019s some impressive year-over-year picking consistency!<\/p>\n In the \u201cnumber of games picked correctly\u201d category, BEVO<\/strong> finished first, with 232 games correct. Pachyderm<\/strong> was second, with 229, and AUBrian<\/strong>, Crimson Gator<\/strong>, Liquid Heat<\/strong>, and The Tradition<\/strong> all had 227 games picked correctly. Great work!<\/p>\n The first half of the game (weeks 1-8) was won by AUBrian<\/strong>, and the second half (9-15) by Pachyderm<\/strong>. Good job!<\/p>\n There were several multiple-week winners this year. In addition to AUBrian<\/strong>\u2019s three weekly wins, other multiple-week winners were JagRag<\/strong> (weeks 1, 4, and 14), BEVO<\/strong> (weeks 2 and 15), and War Ralphie<\/strong> (weeks 5 and 8). Other weekly winners were badgerTime<\/strong> (week 6), maestro<\/strong> (week 9), bamaken<\/strong> (week 10), BritanniaTex<\/strong> (week 11), and BamaHouGirl<\/strong> (week 13). Congratulations to all of the weekly winners!<\/p>\n Everyone will receive a prize for participating this year!
